I'm giving this to my dad, because I think it's about time we can all be honest with the fact I'm his favorite child. The cup is made from thick glass and the lettering is a quality stick on. But I do worry about the lettering coming off in the wash over time. The glass is very durable though and I will not have to worry about it breaking, the handle coming off, or miniature fractures in the glass just from placing hot liquids inside. The cup holds about 13oz I would say without overfilling if you really wanted to you could probably fit almost 15oz. I do love this cup, and I did receive this product in return for my honest and unbiased opinion.
