Being the second book in the series I already had an idea of what I was about to read, and it certainly did not disappoint. The detailed world on Minea was more entertaining than I was expecting this time. The plight of the miners is something I think a lot of people can relate to and will certainly make for a captivating read. Ethan Bryant, is more developed and complex than some of the other characters but we also spend most of the time with him. But have no fear everyone else you will meet is very developed as well and there should be no issues understanding motives and why they do certain things. The setting and plot are also very well constructed and you will not find any plot holes or wonder what is going on. The descriptions are well written. Along the way you will be asking yourself some interesting questions about art and beauty, which may cause you to as yourself some questions about your everyday life. Product provided for evaluation.
