I get tired of never being able to find the lid that matches the container, if I can even find a lid at all. I'm horrible with plastic wrap and tinfoil so these lids have really been a life, and food saver around my kitchen. Being freezer and fridge safe is really important because I do love to freeze foods to reheat a month or so later, just throw in the crockpot and dinner will be ready when we get home. While these are round they have just as tight a seal on a square container, have no fear stretching them out will no rip them in half. If you get them dirty or you are done using them just throw them in the dishwasher and you will be good to go, but remember they should not be used in the microwave.
