More than anything I think this is a glorified formula holder, because like the prep machines I have a hard time believing this is anywhere near accurate. In my experience the marker didn't really stay in the correct place therefore I was never sure if I was getting enough or not. This will not work well if your son is like mine and has special mixing instructions. What I did use this for was a container while we were traveling. this was a bit more durable than his cans because we buy the bulk size. A bulk size can will not fit in this but a normal size can will, so we could just pour some in here and take it on the go and scoop as needed.
