We never really used baby monitors, the normal walkie talkie ones always pocked up weird sounds and static. Not to mention I cannot stand the white noise that comes form them. This allows me to periodically check in without the noise and without having to have a bright monitor on the bed side. It's absolutely great because we can also control it remotely so no matter where I am I can just tune in and check on the little ones. Product provided for evaluation
