When he's not "helping" me my son generally just likes to play. And by play I really mean destroy and bang on things. So what better toy than one that fake destroys things. The saw requires batteries that are not included which is frustrating if you live in a house where all batteries are in toys already. The plastic is strong and made to last, so far so good here, considering it's been thrown down the steps idk how many times and it looks good as new still. If you child is like mine they see things on tv or in life that they want to copy, now no responsible parent is going to give their child a saw to play with at least not their toddler so this play saw works wonders.
