#maxam Solid marble so this will last forever, literally. Crushing and grinding wont be an issue because this has a great weight to it. The Exterior or the Mortar has a Smooth Polished Finish, while the Interior is Slightly Rough with Ridges to Help Grind. If you don't plan to bring with this it makes an amazing decoration.
