#CookBeta Thermometer

I've used a cooking thermometer maybe a handful of times, and most of them I was under the age of 10.  So I was curious about the Cookbetta Digital Cooking Thermometer when I was able to receive the product in return for my honest and unbiased review.  I wasn't sure what the difference was between a cooking thermometer and a normal one, well the difference is apparent to me now.  The end is sharp but thankfully it comes with a safeguard, because the last thing I or anyone else needs to do is stab themselves with this.  The cover also turns into the handle so you don't really have to worry about steam burns.  I was told the whole point of these is to check the temperature of meat, well it can stab all meat, I know I stabbed all of the meats.  It's sturdy because I sure wasn't gentle stabbing anything.  It's easy to operate but the buttons are your normal buttons, a pain to work with at first and then they relax a little and get easier to press, it has both Fahrenheit and Celsius so if you want to use it for a Science project you won't be disappointed.  The hold button pauses the reading and then there is a min/max button that tells you stored temperatures which I'm sure comes in handy for some sort of science project or stew making.  I'm not a chef so I have no idea when you would need to use these.  If you know what they are for feel free to let me know.
